Adding value to construction industry wirh HeimBoard brand products; and manufacturing quality, non-combustible and sustainable products with long life, Hekim Yapı facilitated a common project in collaboration with Turkey İMSAD for introduction of autoclaved fibercement natural cement boards used in interior and exterior façade coatings as well as many other sections of the buildings to construction technology students.

HekimBoard Marketing Vice Manager/Civil Engineer Arda Gül gave a detailed briefing to the students in “Construction Materials” course held at University of İzmir, Construction Technology Vocational College on 30 November, 2018.

Gül provided information particularly on “Fire Insulation” performance of HekimBoard fibercement products, stating that fire resistant class A1 fibercement products have been used as interior and exterior façade coating material which aids preventing structural fires often seen in media recently as well as life – property losses for the last 15 years.

Gül demonstrated application exemplars of fibercement boards and provided detailed information on areas of use in respect to fire resistances as well as methods of use, proving that fibercement products produced by Hekim Yapı for the first time in Turkey have become indispensible interior and exterior façade coating product used both in govenrment and private industry projects to the students who will be the engineers in the future.

The activity is concluded with question-answer section, with the intention of organizing and repeating such activities in the future on regular basis.

The next training activity will be at University of Sakarya in March.
